Abstract.
The research aims to reveal the features of the organization of the polyphonic space of the work and to determine its role in creating a unified artistic and philosophical content in Mikhail Bulgakov’s novel “The Master and Margarita”. The scientific originality of the research consists in developing an original approach to the study of the mechanisms of creating textual meaning in the novel, which for the first time made it possible to identify the systematic principles of interaction between the main plot and thematic lines. This study demonstrated for the first time that the formation of meaning is based on a complex system of intertwining philosophical, religious, and social ideas, which not only enhance the ambiguity of the novel, but also create a coherent space of interpretation for the reader. The research findings showed that the structure of the novel implies a symbiotic connection between embedded narratives, where each of them complements and deepens the overall philosophical intent of the work. It has been established that through a complex system of symbols and allusions, Bulgakov creates an artistic universe where the combination of reality and fantasy serves not only as a means of narration, but also as a key tool for the formation of meanings. Thus, the conclusions of the study open up new perspectives for studying the features of the text of “The Master and Margarita” and its significance for Russian and world literature.
