Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify the features of the model of the chronotope of narration, complicated by the mental characteristics of the narrator. The article examines the relationship between the space-time continuum of a work of art and the personality of the subject of narration and describes aspects of the representation of this continuum from the perspective of a teenager with autism spectrum disorder. The scientific novelty lies in revealing the factors influencing the unreliable narrator on the organization of the space-time model of the novel and identifying the degree of immersion of the reader in the artistic world presented by the author through the prism of distorted perception. The article establishes that the inclusion of the subject of narration in the structure of the chronotope allows us to consider the spatial continuum of the narrative through immersion in the inner world of the narrator and his perception of the external world, built on the opposition of "own" and "alien." The study also showed that the subjectively colored space-time continuum of the narrative from the perspective of a teenager with autism spectrum disorder is characterized by chaos, excessive detail, and emphasis on minor details. Overcoming the difficulties that arise when deciphering the semantic content due to these features of the narrative promotes maximum reader involvement in the artistic reality created by the author.
