Anthropocentrism of author’s individual lexicon: the human as the center of the poetic universe

Abstract.
This article examines author’s neologisms belonging to the thematic macro-group “Human” found in contemporary poetic texts. The research describes thematic groups related to the naming of persons, anatomical concepts and physiological processes, emotions, and cognitive activity, focusing on the specific characteristics of their semantics and functional purpose. The aim of the research is to identify the main mechanisms through which the anthropocentric focus of author’s word coinage is manifested. The scientific novelty lies in the proposed original classification of author’s individual neologisms within the “Human” macro-group, considering their thematic, structural, and functional features. The results show that author’s derivatives with an anthropocentric focus encompass the physiological, emotional, cognitive, and social spheres of human existence. Designations of persons hold a special place. Compounding is the most productive method of word formation, ensuring semantic layering. Suffixation is actively used to create naming units designating persons, prefixation is employed to convey emotional nuances, and the postfixal method emphasizes the internal direction of the action. Author’s words with an anthropocentric focus realize associative-expressive potential and shape the ideological and artistic space of contemporary poetry.
