Transformation of the semantic field ЧИСТОТА (purity/cleanliness) in Russian internet discourse: a structural aspect

Abstract.
The article examines the transformation of one of the key concepts of the Russian linguistic worldview – ЧИСТОТА (purity/cleanliness) – under the influence of the digital environment. Based on a diachronic analysis of data from the Russian National Corpus, the evolution of the semantic field is traced from the dominance of sacred-moral meanings in the pre-revolutionary period to the actualization of technological and ecological senses in the era of the Internet. The aim of the study is to construct a model of the transformation of the semantic field ЧИСТОТА in Russian internet discourse, identifying its latest structural dynamics. The scientific novelty lies in establishing and describing the formation of a new digital micro-field (e.g., ‘clean code’, ‘digital hygiene’), as well as in identifying the phenomenon of semantic hybridization as a consequence of network communicative practices (hashtags, memes). The analysis revealed key vectors of transformation: the reduction of the sacred-moral component at the core of the field, the expansion of ecological semantics, and the formation of a technological micro-field. The findings indicate that internet discourse acts not as a passive reflector but as an active agent of semantic changes, creating unique conditions for terminological creativity and the hybridization of meanings.
