Abstract. The research aims to identify the genre features and national specificities of autobiographical narrative in Chuvash literature through the analysis of works by contemporary authors: A. Myshkina, E. Narbi, and A. Khmyt. The paper explores the phenomenon of autobiographical narrative in Chuvash literature through the prism of genre features and ethnocultural specificities. Drawing on the works of A. Myshkina “Атте пилӗ” (“Father’s Blessing”, 1999), E. Narbi “Телей патне пин çухрăм” (“A Thousand Miles to Happiness”, 2022), and A. Khmyt “Ан тӑк куҫҫуль, аннеҫӗм…” (“Wipe Away Your Tears, Mother…”, 2003), the mechanisms of transforming personal experience into a literary text are analyzed, identifying both universal and nationally specific features of the autobiographical genre. Based on the assumption that any literary text is founded on the author’s interpretation of reality, the paper examines how biographical events and personal experiences permeate the plot and themes of the writers’ works. The scientific originality of the research lies in identifying the key features of autobiographical narrative in Chuvash literature, based on contemporary texts that have not previously undergone comprehensive study. The results of the research show that autobiographical details in the works of A. Myshkina, E. Narbi, and A. Khmyt are not a mere recounting of facts, but they represent a creative reinterpretation of reality, filtered through the prism of individual perception. Considering the personal context allows for assessing the depth of authorial reflection and understanding the uniqueness of the literary style, shaped by life experience. The work emphasizes the importance of the autobiographical component for shaping the artistic structure of the works and for a deeper understanding of the national identity, cultural values, and historical path of the Chuvash people.
