Abstract.
The aim of this study is to identify the lyrical-philosophical motifs and the specifics of their artistic embodiment in N. Tsilykin’s poetry collection “…And Not Only About Myself”. The paper discusses and analyzes the poet’s lyrical-philosophical thought as the basis of the collection’s poetic concept. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that it is the first one to subject the artistic features of the collection “…And Not Only About Myself” to scholarly reflection, including motif-plot blocks, the diversity of lyrical situations, means of structuring artistic images, and methods for revealing poetic thought. The study found that, despite the overall traditional nature of N. Tsilykin’s artistic strategies and stances, his works are characterized by a broad thematic range, distinctive authorial interpretations, poetic representations and associations, philosophical depth of thought and lyrical imagery, and a synthesis of various forms expressing the author's worldview. The recurrence of dominant themes in his artistic endeavors is explained not by the limitations of his lyrical scope, but by the need for their intensified elaboration and deepening, as well as fidelity to his poetic ideas.
