Transformation of the theme of children's miracles in the adult poetry of Oleg Grigoriev

Abstract.
The aim of the research is to clarify the understanding of Oleg Grigoriev's artistic world by answering the question of how the theme of magic, characteristic of his officially published children's poetry, is transformed when entering the author's uncensored works for adults. Using intertextual and motif analysis, the article demonstrates that various elements (plots, images, rhymes, motifs) of children's poetry are consistently embodied but radically transformed in adult poetry. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that, for the first time, the theme of magic is purposefully examined, demonstrating that elements of the absurd in adult poetry directly trace back to the theme of a child's special perspective in poetry for children. The results obtained show that in adult poetry, where the theme of child perception almost disappears, miracles are replaced by eerie metamorphoses emphasizing the precariousness and absurdity of reality. Recognizing that the "adult" world represents a terribly distorted yet still recognizable world of children's poems allows for a clarification of Grigoriev's artistic concept as a whole: the poet demonstrates how frightening it is to lose the child-like, creative origin, as the loss of a child's sense of wonder in Grigoriev's artistic world is experienced as a tragedy of existence.
