ABOUT SOME TENDENCIES IN USING FULL AND SHORT FORMS OF ADJECTIVES IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. In the article some tendencies in using full and short forms of adjectives in the modern Russian language are found out. The author pays the special attention to the tendency of widening the functions and use of full forms of adjectives and to the tendency of taking the meaning inherent in the other forms by both full and short adjectives.
