PICTURE OF THE WORLD IN BURYAT RIDDLES

Abstract. The author researches Buryat riddles in the folk picture of the world, and basing on the analysis of the Buryat riddles undertakes the attempt to present the traditional worldview of the Mongolian peoples through the lenses of folklore texts reflecting almost the entire way of the economic and cultural activity of the Buryats.
