"CLAUSTROPHOBIC" POETICS OF RUSSIAN ROMANTIC BALLAD

Abstract. The article considers the aspects of the "claustrophobic" perception of space in the romantic ballads of V. A. Zhukovskii. "Claustrophobia" is understood as a situation of the violation of organic connection between the subject and the reality perceived as closed space. This feature is found at the different levels of a text (objective, modal, mental) and can serve as an invariant model for the description of ballad reality.
