Abstract. The author studies the concept "autumn" in multilingual cultures in cognitive-linguistic aspect, undertakes the attempt to create the field model of the Russian concept "осень" and the English concept "autumn" in terms of the core, base layer and periphery, and also analyzes the representation of the said concept in the language consciousness of the Russian and English languages native speakers.
