LINGUO-COGNITIVE APPROACH TO TEACHING STUDENTS-PHILOLOGISTS TO USE VOCABULARY (BY THE MATERIAL OF LEXEMES SILENCE AND QUIET)

Abstract. The author considers the problem of forming the lexical component of students-philologists’ communicative competence basing on a cognitive approach to teaching vocabulary in the classes on the Russian language as a foreign one, and describes the possibilities of applying linguo-cognitive strategies in teaching foreign students to use the Russian vocabulary (by the material of lexemes "quiet" and "silence").
