JOURNAL "CHASY": FORMATION OF INFORMAL CULTURAL MOVEMENT IDEOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS

Abstract. The article considers the social-cultural functions, assumed by the typewritten journal "The Chasy" (1976-1990) in the process of Leningrad independent movement formation. One of the journal objectives was the development of new ideology in which informal environment would take righteous place. This theory was expressed in the works of B. Ivanov, published in the first issues. The main characteristics of "the second" culture, defined in the articles, were represented in the principles of the journal publication.
