THE AUTHOR'S POSITION IN THE PICTURE OF CONFLICT SITUATION IN INNER SPEECH (BY THE MATERIAL OF CHARLOTTE BRONT?'S NOVEL "JANE EYRE")

Abstract. In the article the problem of author's personality reflection in literary text, namely its display in the picture of conflict situation in character's inner speech is considered. The author distinguishes the notions "author's personality", "author's image" and "author's position", and attaches the most significant importance to "author's position" which is present in all aspects of literary work: both in plot structure, main idea and in the picture of characters and events.
