UPPER DNIESTRIAN DIALECT IN THE ART LANGUAGE OF Y. VYNNYCHUK

Abstract. The article examines the language of literary works by Y. Vynnychuk from the viewpoint of representation in them the Upper Dniestrian dialect. The author analyzes the structure, means for introducing dialect features in the speech of the personages and speech of an author. The researcher identifies the place and role of dialect linguistic units in the system of stylistic devices of a literary work. The analysis testifies that using dialect elements in Y. Vynnychuk’s language is artistically motivated, aimed to achieve stylistic purpose.
