THE ROLE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT SCHOOL

Abstract. The article discusses the role of information and communication technologies in teaching a foreign language. Starting from the general issues associated with the introduction of new technologies in the learning process, and based on the criteria of "positive effect", "negative impact" and "significance of application results in educational process", the author focuses on the attitude of English language teachers of secondary schools to their use in the educational process.
