LEXICOGRAPHIC DEVELOPMENT OF PROPER NOUNS IN AUTHOR’S DICTIONARIES (BY THE EXAMPLE OF DICTIONARY OF SHAKESPEARE "WHO'S WHO IN SHAKESPEARE", 2007)

El'zherokova Elina Khazhmuratovna
Ivanovo State University

Abstract. The article deals with the toponyms that are recorded in the onomastic dictionary of Shakespeare. The choice of research topic is determined by the fact that there are more than 30 onomasticons in Shakespeare lexicography. Using the method of continuous sampling the author has collected all the toponyms in the dictionary of Shakespeare "Who's Who in Shakespeare" (2007). The result of the study shows that this dictionary records mainly such types of toponyms as astionyms (names of cities).
Key words and phrases: имена собственные, словарь, мегаструктура, макроструктура, микроструктура, ономастикон, proper nouns, dictionary, megastructure, macrostructure, microstructure, onomasticon
