ON THE QUESTION OF AGNONYMIC ERRORS: SOME WORDS ABOUT PARONYMS IN THE MODERN FRENCH LANGUAGE

Abstract. In the article the content of the notion "agnonymic error" as a kind of systemic lexical errors is specified. The author supposes that errors caused by ignorance of the word meaning arise when we speak about the unconscious agnonyms. By the example of the French language the author shows that the agnonymic errors in the speech of native speakers can be associated with the phenomenon of paronymy. Two types of such errors are analyzed: 1) errors conditioned by incoordination of two perceiving channels - aural and visual; 2) errors associated with the operation of only one channel - the aural one.
