NON-VERBAL EXPRESSION OF EMOTIONS IN THE NOVEL TEXT AND FILM SCRIPT: POSSIBLE TRANSFORMATIONS (THE NOVEL "PERFUME" BY P. S?SKIND AND ITS FILM VERSION)

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the means explicating character’s emotional state; in particular, the author focuses on the means manifesting emotions in the novel text and film script - the film version of the novel. The researcher examines the peculiarities of intra-linguistic relation between this literary work and its film version, analyzes inter-semiotic transformations, such as substitutions, omissions and polysemy.
