PROTOTYPE CHANGE IN INTERCATEGORIAL TRANSPOSITION

Shadrina Nadezhda Amirshoevna, Aleshina Alexandra Igorevna
Saint-Petersburg State University

Abstract. The process of transposition presupposes the use of a component of a certain category in the function of a component of a different category. This process is typical for "modus categories" of evaluation and intensification which have much in common. The investigation of transposition between these categories proves that the prototype meaning of the transposed units is changed.
Key words and phrases: транспозиция, прототип, модусные категории, категория оценки, аксиологические единицы, категория интенсивности, transposition, prototype, modus categories, category of evaluation, axiological units, category of intensification
