ANALYSIS OF THE NOTIONAL COMPONENT OF THE CONCEPT "IMAGE" BY THE MATERIAL OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article analyzes the notional component of the concept "IMAGE" in the German linguistic culture. Linguistic and cultural analysis allows describing the content structure of this concept. The methodology of the study of the notional component of the concept is presented. This analysis shows the actualization of various cognitive characteristics of the concept "IMAGE": "social image", "sample", "positive image characteristic", "negative image characteristic", "uniqueness", etc.
