INFLUENCE OF THE SIBERIAN BUKHARANS’ TRADITIONS ON THE ANTHROPONYMYCON OF THE SIBERIAN TATARS OF THE TOBOLSK DISTRICT IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article examines the Bukharans’ influence on the formation of the personal-name system of the Siberian Tatars of the Tobolsk district of the Tobolsk province at the end of the XIX century. The data of the first all-Russian population census of 1897 in Arapovskie and Mirimovskie Yurty of the Tobolsk district served as the research material. The paper shows that in many ways due to the Siberian Bukharans at the end of the XIX century Islamic culture became firmly established in everyday life of the Siberian Tatars. Special attention is paid to the historical and cultural characteristic of the Bukharans as an ethno-social group. The author concludes that at the end of the XIX century anthroponymic space was established common for the Siberian Tatars and the Bukharans but the Bukharans preserved their own traditions of naming.
