THE ROLE OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE IN THE STRUCTURE OF PROFESSIONAL-METHODOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Abstract. The article identifies the place of research competence in the structure of a foreign language teacher’s professional-methodological competence. The authors justify the choice of the term "professional-methodological competence", propose their own structure of this notion. The analysis of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education indicates the necessity to include research competence into the structure of professional-methodological competence. The research findings will be useful for higher school teachers training bachelor students - future foreign language teachers.
