STRUCTUREDNESS OF THE NOTION "FALSITY" AND THE FRAME "LIE TO SOMEBODY" IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF HEARING AND HEARING-IMPAIRED TEENAGERS (BY THE MATERIAL OF A SURVEY)

Abstract. The article analyzes experimental data acquired during a survey of hearing secondary school teenagers and their hearing-impaired peers from boarding schools. The originality of the study is in the fact that the author identifies the structuredness of the notion and the related frame encoded in two semiotic systems. The findings allowed the researcher to establish the semantic minimum necessary for the functioning of the notion and the frame in the consciousness of hearing and hearing-impaired pupils. The research methodology includes comparative analysis methods, quantitative methods, and ranking methods. The findings lead to the conclusion that there are stable semantic relations between the notion and slots of the frame in the consciousness of hearing teenagers. On the other hand, fragmentary coding in the consciousness of hearing-impaired teenagers does not allow them to capture semantic relations between the notion and corresponding frame’s slots.
