POLISH MILITARY CAPTIVES PROBLEM AND WAYS OF ITS SOLVING IN 1831

Abstract. In the article one of the little-studied native history topics - Polish-Russian war (1831) captives' stay in the Russian Empire territory - is considered. Archival documents and materials reflecting the questions of Polish warriors capturing, placing and confinement which have never been published before are introduced into scientific circulation.
