NOTION IN MUSIC AS SYNTHESIS OF SENSORY AND RATIONAL

Abstract. The author considers the rational mechanisms of music art, namely the revelation of notion, notion image in music pieces, supposes that if there is a phenomenon of musical thinking, there must be a structural unit of this thinking, tells that since verbal thinking uses notions, it is likely that notions also form the basis of musical thinking, proves the existence of notion in music, and reveals its specificity.
