LEGISLATIVE REGULATION OF ELECTION CAMPAIGN OF THE HEAD OF THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA

Abstract. The article deals with the theoretical and practical problem aspects of the legal regulation of the electoral process for the election of the highest government official of the subject of the Russian Federation - the Head of the Republic of Mordovia. On the basis of the analysis of the provisions of the federal legislation, the legislation of the individual subjects of the Russian Federation and the practice of holding elections in several regions of Russia the author comes to the conclusion about the necessity of the detailed legislative regulation of electoral legal relations at both federal and local levels.
