FOOD SUPPLY OF POPULATION OF NAZI GERMANY AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR (BY THE MATERIALS OF TROPHY DOCUMENTS OF THE RUSSIAN STATE MILITARY ARCHIVE)

Abstract. The article examines the problem of the food supply of the population of Nazi Germany as an indicator of the efficiency of the management system and the readiness of the Nazi regime for the protracted war and also as a factor that prevented the mobilization of the economy. In domestic historical literature the problem of the food supply of the population of Germany at the beginning of the Second World War is investigated for the first time in this very aspect. The author refers to archival materials, which were not previously analyzed in the domestic Germanic studies.
