NANOTECHNOLOGIES AND NANOSCIENCE: EPISTEMOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

RETRACTED 05.03.2018

Abstract. The article examines the foundations of instrumental revolution associated with the appearance of nanotechnologies. It is shown that the ontological peculiarities of nanosystemtechnology are connected with the specificity of the dimension of objects and manipulators going beyond the dominance of quantum effects, but not enough for the manifestation of macrofeatures. The epistemological basis of nanotechnologies is understood in the framework of constructivism and reductionism, and its main methodological principle is the unity of the world at nanoscale.
Key words and phrases: нанотехнологии, инструментальная революция, философия техники, технонаука, наноразмерные системы, конструктивный реализм, nanotechnologies, instrumental revolution, philosophy of technology, technoscience, nanosize systems, constructive realism
