Abstract. The research subject is V. V. Rozanov’s views on the issue of relationship of art and religion. To understand how these spheres of human activity interact according to V. V. Rozanov, we suggest comparing them in the context of the thinker’s anthropological ideas. The novelty of the work is in the argued view of the little known topic and its creative analysis. The problems touched upon in the article are urgent as they create a systemic vision of the philosopher’s views in this sphere among readers.
