Abstract. The article discusses implications of a situation that takes place in economy and is related to collapse of value-semantic positions in the modern world. Crisis of socio-cultural sphere as such forces us to seek topical reference points beyond it, and therefore, causal factors of economic activity reduced to human needs acquire significant importance. Further development of the area under consideration involves restoration of harmony between the human being and environment including full implementation of existing opportunities with needs as a central element.
