A MODEL TO PROJECT A RATING PLAN FOR THE ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE

Abstract. The article examines the problem of using a score-rating system at a higher education establishment. Requirements for a score-rating system are formulated and the basic shortcomings of the existing variants are identified. The authors propose a model to project a rating plan taking into account didactic tasks of a certain academic discipline and relative workload for the student’s educational activity. The paper provides a sample rating plan developed using the proposed model and evaluates the efficiency of introducing the model of the mentioned score-rating system into educational process.
