FORMATION OF JUNIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN’S COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS AT RHETORIC LESSONS

Abstract. The article reveals the essence of one of the urgent problems of contemporary education - the problem of the formation of junior schoolchildren’s communicative skills. The paper discusses the theoretical aspects of the notion “communicative skills”, presents convincing arguments that demonstrate the necessity of their development in the process of children’s personalities formation. Particular attention is paid to the applied meaning of Rhetoric as a school subject and methodological recommendations aimed at the improvement of the effectiveness of the process of the formation of junior schoolchildren’s communicative skills.
