Abstract.
The aims of the article are to find the sufficient conditions of the uniqueness of the solution and to construct a regularizing operator according to M. M. Lavrent'ev for linear Volterra integral equations of the first kind on the axis. Linear Volterra integral equations of the first kind are used in various applied problems, in particular in the problems of seismology. To achieve this goal, the author at first built regularizing operators according to M. M. Lavrent’ev for the solution of the integral equation of the first kind, and then proved the uniqueness theorem using the method proposed by I. Imanaliev and A. Asanov.
