Abstract.
The article is devoted to the problem of forming adequate self-assessment of junior schoolchildren in educational activity, which is rather topical at present. The author describes a theoretical aspect of the issue analyzing the role of self-assessment in the personality’s formation and singling out its main types. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the study of the principal factors and conditions of forming adequate self-assessment. The proposed theoretical provisions have been tested in the course of practical and experimental work on forming adequate self-assessment of junior schoolchildren in educational activity.
