Abstract. The article discusses practical application of the innovative problem-search method in classes of the professional Russian language on the topic “Diseases of the Endocrine System. The Syndrome of Hypo- and Hyperglycemia. Diabetes”. Students-analysts of the problem-search group come to certain conclusions about treatment of diabetes of the 1st and 2nd types. The conducted class has shown advantages of the problem-search training method: this method is connected with educational process, students’ mastering of educational material takes place in the process of independent resolution of problem situations, students demonstrate independence and initiative in the study of the subject.
