Abstract. The article presents the author's approach to understanding the essential components of state informational policy topical under the conditions of modern social-political instability in the world. Informational policy, in the author's opinion, must help to solve the whole range of social problems of home policy and state tasks of foreign policy. The author of the article undertakes the attempt to synthesize the basic problems of informational policy and to designate the most perspective trends of its formation and realization.
