MYTH AND EDUCATION ON SOCIAL LEVEL OF BEING

Abstract. The author analyzes the nature of social being and the relations of myth and education in the logic of J. Habermas's theory of communicative action, and substantiates the complex of propositions that myth belongs to vital world, its structural function is associated with the actualization of the situation of trust, and the destructive one - with the transformation in the form of social ideology. Education belongs to the system, and the mythological complexes of meanings are continuously circulating into it from the vital world. It is possible to avoid authoritative system discourse and manipulation violence by means of the reflexive destruction of myth ideological form and the formation of the personal variants of education and one's own well-reasoned communicative speech.
