Abstract.
The author considers the work of The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation in the context of “soft power” implementation of the Russian Federation, analyzes the aims and objectives of Rossotrudnichestvo in the implementation of the Russian foreign policy, correlates each direction of Rossotrudnichestvo activity with the factor of cultural influence, basing on it concludes, which areas are successful and which need further development, and considers the material taken from the official site of Rossotrudnichestvo, as well as the sites of the funds and foreign missions of the Russian Federation.
