THE FRENCH MINING SCHOOLS IN THE XIX TH CENTURY (BY EXAMPLE OF MINING SCHOOLS IN ALAIS AND DOUAI)

Abstract. The author reveals the history of the creation and development of mining schools in the French towns Alais and Douai, which became an important part of mine technical education system in France, considers the features of these educational institutions administrative structure, as well as the organization of educational process in these foreign mining schools, and conducts the comparative analysis of training organization in the French mining schools and in similar domestic educational establishments.
