PHYSICAL TRAINING AND SPORT ROLE IN POPULATION’S HEALTH FORMATION: SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract. The article considers the role of physical training and sport in the formation of population’s health. Population’s attitude, aims and value orientations ​​in relation to the most important problems of the formation of human’s health in particular, and society’s health in general are revealed by the materials of the sociological research. Particular attention is paid to significant factors underlying the attitude to the problem of health. Finally, the main ones that negatively affect health and healthy lifestyle are revealed, and a number of recommendations that contribute to the resolution of the situation are given.
