Abstract.
The article studies innovation processes as one of the stages of socium self-development. The essential characteristics of the notion “ontology of social innovation studies” are defined by relating the content of innovation processes theory in economics, philosophy and sociology. The research of the ontological characteristics of innovative social processes denies the existing belief in the unpredictability of innovations in social sphere. The example of mechanism for innovations implementation in social practice with the identification of changes in all parts of society spiritual sphere is given.
