Abstract.
In the article the analysis of the agricultural sector land supply condition and its use under the conditions of the Russian economy reformation is presented by Volga Federal District materials. The change dynamics of land use subjects is shown from historical positions, the problems of transition to market relations are stated. Land resources became an important factor of social-economic development in the post-soviet period. Land relations were reformed, land supply denationalization was realized at quick rate. A new algorithm of land surveying was formed. It became important to know agricultural land characteristics, its producing power for both authorities and business entities.
