Abstract.
The article considers the process of developing the ability for the creative interpretation of music pieces with the students of pedagogic high schools under the conditions of instrumental class (piano). The author shows the principles of the organization of such process, the components of the creative performance interpretation of music and psycho-educational conditions securing the maximum efficiency of its development. The paper suggests the author’s original methods for developing the ability for the creative interpretation of music based on the experience of theatrical pedagogics, in the first place on the system of K. S. Stanislavskii.
