INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF HIGHER SCHOOL OF RUSSIA WITH SUBJECTS OF EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF JAPAN IN POST-SOVIET PERIOD

Abstract. In the article the development of the international cooperation of the higher education establishments of Russia with the subjects of the educational space of Japan in the post-soviet period is considered. The author reveals the notion “subjects of educational space of Japan” and identifies the forms of the interaction of the latter with the Russian higher school. The main international programs supported by the government of the Land of the Rising Sun are singled out, the contribution of Japan-Russia Youth Exchange Center to the process of the development of the educational contacts of the partner countries is identified.
