LEGAL RESTRICTIONS OF THE RIGHT TO EXPRESS RELIGIOUS BELIEFS BY RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS (COMPARATIVE AND LEGAL ASPECT)

Abstract. The article describes approaches to the legal regulation of the restrictions of the right to express religious beliefs by religious symbols in foreign countries and in the Russian Federation. The author analyzes the reasons and marginal limits of this type of restrictions in France, Great Britain and Russia. The basis for the legal regulation of the mentioned restrictions is balance between the right to express religious beliefs and other values of state and society.
