Abstract.
The article is devoted to the social and philosophical analysis of the correlation of secular and religious in the space of culture and society. The author reveals the essence of social and cultural interaction between secular and religious through understanding the nature and genesis of these notions. The analysis of the evolution of the dialogue between secular and spiritual in the Russian society is given. The need to turn to the issue of the study of these concepts for the further construction of appropriate relations between religion and the state is considered.
