SOCIAL THOUGHT AS EMBODIMENT OF ABSOLUTE IDEA

Abstract.
In the article the author sheds light on the issue of the nature of social thought in a metaphysical way. The researcher supposes that social thought, being embodied as absolute idea, has, as absolute spirit itself, three components determining the direction, sense and structure of this thought: the spirit of Eros, the spirit of Logos and the spirit of Thanatos. The spirit of Thanatos is notable for conservatism and stagnation, the spirit of Eros characterizes social thought directed at creation, the spirit of Logos is a counterbalance between them.
