ON THE ISSUE OF SAME-SEX MARRIAGES: SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract.
The article examines one of the topical problems of contemporary society - the problem of same-sex marriages. By the materials of a concrete sociological study the attitude of student youth to the non-conventional forms of sexuality and marriage is analyzed. Special attention is paid to the determination of the impact of the social distance of deviation manifestation on the degree of tolerance towards it. The conclusion is made about the gender asymmetry of tolerance towards sexual minorities in youth environment.
