Abstract. The article examines the peculiarities of artistic embodiment of the madness phenomenon in the videogame “Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines”. In the game world the madness phenomenon is reflected by the authors at several levels: it is presented in the plot of the videogame many-sidedly; it is traced in the motive structure and image system. The motive of madness in the videogame is interwoven with the motifs of laughter, duality, denunciation and theatricality.
